The version of Windows 10 available in the Release Preview ring is build 18363.327, which happens to be just one number higher of the build available in the Slow ring (18362.xxx). According to the software giant, the reason of the number change is to mark this release as a feature update. If you’re looking to test this pre-release, the update is only available for a small set of participants of the Windows Insider Program with devices enrolled in the Release Preview Ring. However, if you’re already testing a build of the 19H2 development in the Slow ring, Microsoft explains that because of the differences between the rings, you won’t be able to switch ring and download the preview (yet). Also, devices that install the Windows 10 build 18363.327 will only access some of the features intended for the 19H2 update, because not all the changes have been incorporated, and this is just an approach to test the final rollout of the update.
