No one, no two, no three, but four new Windows Insider Preview builds rolled out this week, including Windows 10 build 16278 and build 16281 in the Fast ring for testers with PCs enrolled in the Fast ring with only bug fixes, no new feature or big improvements, and now build 16278 is also available through the Slow ring. Windows 10 build 16353 also rolled out this week, which is the first preview Microsoft is making available with changes for the Redstone 4 update due in 2018. Update KB4039396 also released this week with fixes and improvements for devices still on the Anniversary Update. In addition, Surface Pro 4 received a new firmware update to improve its camera system. Though, Microsoft has yet to officially publish the release notes. Europe’s largest consumer electronics show, IFA 2017, happened this week, and many computer manufacturers, such as Asus, Acer, and Lenovo unveiled a wide range of new devices featuring Intel’s eighth-generation processors, new designs, and more memory than ever before. Asus announced the new ZenBook Flip 14, ZenBook Flip 15, ZenBook 13, VivoBook Flip 14, VivoBook S14, and the brand-new Republic of Gamers (ROG) Chimera gaming laptop. Acer unveiled the new Switch 7 tablet, Predator Orion 9000 gaming laptop, Swift 5 laptop, Spin 5 convertible, and Aspire S24 all-in-one desktop computer. Lenovo introduced the new Yoga 920 and Yoga 720 convertible laptops, and MiiX 520 tablet Surface challenger. Alongside the new devices running Windows 10, companies like Asus and Lenovo also announced their new Windows Mixed Reality headsets. You can now start downloading the Xbox titles for September 2017 as part of the Games with Gold program, and if you’re looking for a good deal on Groove Music, Microsoft is currently offering seven months subscription for the price of one month. Finally, during the Labor Day weekend in the United States and Canada, Microsoft is having a big sale with substantial discounts on laptops and desktops from the most popular brands, including Dell, Asus, Lenovo, HP, and others.
