The new section will feature different workspaces, from a home office in tiny corner, in the attic, or in the basement to interesting work places I can come across. The hope with “Workspace” is to hunt down and collect amazing modern space designs to inspire those interested on simple, flexible, and functional approach, providing new ideas on how to organize or redesign a current working area. And to show that a good technology experience isn’t just about having the latest gadget, but also having an amazing and unique space where to use them. In this very first featured, we have a small home office called Carroll Gardens Abode from CWB Architects. This small workspace features a beautiful and simple color scheme (black and white) on an open staircase platform with a mid-brown floating desk table, white bookshelf, black floor and a big window on the right-hand side to fill the room with abundant natural light, just at the right height for privacy.
This small workspace was part of a project of a two-family row house located in New York City that was renovated connecting the lower and upper floor together.
