Xbox 360 games will start showing up on Xbox One consoles as soon as June 15, 2015, on consoles registered in the preview program. Everyone else can expect background compatibility later this holiday. However, developers will have the power to decide whether the Xbox 360 game will appear as a compatible title, but the best part is that game developers won’t have to change anything on the game to make it compatible. In addition, Xbox One owners playing Xbox 360 games will be able to take advantage on additional features, such as GamdDVR, Screenshot, and game streaming to Windows 10 devices.

Initially, there will be around 100 title compatible, but in the coming months the support will grow to hundreds of more titles. Currently there are only 24 games available int eh compatibility list:
