Lenovo’s Miix 720 also features a detachable keyboard, which unlike the Surface Pro 4, it comes included with the device. Let’s dive into the most important aspects of these new 2-in-1 Lenovo is introducing at CES 2017.
Lenovo Miix 720
It’s not just about the bundled keyboard that makes it a Surface Pro 4 alternative. The new tablet from Lenovo features a 12-inch 2880 x 1920-pixel resolution display (QHD+) and a Thunderbolt 3 port that enable the device to support two additional external displays. You can also get the Miix 720 with up to an Intel Core i7 Kaby Lake processor, Intel HD Graphics 620, 16GB of memory, and 1TB of SSD for storage.
The tablet also includes an infrared camera for biometric authentication using Windows Hello. It also supports Lenovo’s new Active Pen 2, which is a perfect accessory to use with Windows Ink. Perhaps the most noticeable feature about the pen is its 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, which doubles the previous version, and quadruples the pressure sensitivity of the Surface Pen. According to the company, the Miix 720 has a battery life of approximately 8 hours on a single charge. It comes in champagne and iron gray colors, and it’ll be available in February at a starting price of $999. Though, you’ll need to get the Active Pen 2 separately for $60.
