Don’t think that this is not new. First Google Chrome for Android offered the ability to sync tabs between an Android 4.0 device and your desktop web browser; then not too long ago Chrome beta for the desktop introduced the ability to sync tabs between multiple computers. But with the release of Chrome 19 stable version, now you can sync tabs between computers and Android devices (Ice Cream Sandwich) as well. For “Tab Sync” to work, you have to be signed in to Chrome, then new open tabs will be automatically synced across all your devices. You can access the remote tabs by opening a New Tab page and look for the “Other devices” option in the bottom-right corner. Oh! And the history of all tabs are synced as well, so you can use the back and forth button too. As you know, Google likes to roll out things gradually to make sure new features work properly, so it will take a little bit of time to become available to everyone, when you get it, the feature will be accessible from the chrome://chrome/settings/, under the Advanced sync settings button.

Also in this release Google has redesigned Chrome’s Settings page. Now all the settings has been consolidated under three main categories: History, Extensions, and Settings. History and Extensions were barely modified. The big changes will be noticed in the Settings page; Google has simplified most of the configuration options. When you first get to Settings, you’ll find all your basic options like Sign-in to Chrome, Search, users profile manager and others; and clicking the Show advanced settings link at the bottom of the page will unveil all “super user” options such as Privacy, Password, Background apps and many more.

Finally, you’ll find interesting that Chrome now has an enhanced spelling suggestion function that uses Google servers instead of the traditional list of suggestions stored locally in the web browser. By default the new options is disable but you can enable it when you right-click a misspelled word and selecting “Ask Google for suggestion”. “Google Chrome can provide smarter spell-checking by sending what you type in the browser to Google servers, allowing you to use the same spell-checking technology used by Google search,” — the company says.
