The first thing that you will notice is that the Settings interface is now in a Tab attached to the browser, looks just like a Web page and not a dialog box anymore. In the left side you will also find the old-time Basics, Personal Stuff and Under the Hood sections, but with addition of the new search box that will help you to rapidly find the settings that you want to tweak or customize in Google Chrome browser.
Also helping remotely family and friends configuring Google Chrome just got easier, thanks to Chrome that now will automatically update the omminbar (address bar) with the direction of the setting you are looking for, then you can easily select and copy the link and send it to the person you are helping.

The new Settings interface seems to be a step in the right direction, because now locating and configuring settings in Google Chrome are more intuitive than before. This will also give Google the flexibility to add more customization in the future without worrying too much about clutter and getting user confuse, which it could happen if using a dialog box. Additionally it will also make easier for the user to keep the same Chrome configuration experience across platform, e.g., Chrome OS, Windows, Mac and Linux, and not having to re-learn the location of the settings.
